So while I find it a bit too theatrical the way they confront company execs, overall the piece is well put together EXPECIALLY the part 40 minutes in-about Hawaii . I will say this though- it was shady how they confronted the MD of Bayer with a stack of papers/ the 25 studies 24 of which apparently/ according to them point to a connection with pesticides and neurological development BUT fail to identify the parameters of those studies and then proceed to question the MD about his opinion on these studies that he has not had a chance to review. They needed to identify to the viewer ( & MD) the types of cognitive tests used, who they compared the kids in the study to, the study sample sizes of all not just one of them… etc etc. Not only was the lady rude to the rep. but she seemed intentionally deceitful herself/ answered his very reasonable questions with questions and theatrical exclamations. Only interested in conveying her outrage vs. logical points or concerns. They also ask the MD to prove a double negative (For example prove that unicorns don't exist- a well trained scientist could never do that all they CAN say is that we have no evidence that they do exist. Translation- they have no proof that chemical xyz causes disease abc, and the documentary takes advantage of that. I wish instead the blonde lady was nicer and could have had an open dialogue with the rep. They wasted that opportunity. The Documentary was more concentrated on shock and awe theatrics than conveying stats/ facts. Seemed to cherry pick to show their pint and only their point. But most are like that so still 5 stars because the big 6 ARE evil and people need to stop buying their products. This film may be focused on France, but the problems and players are the same in the U.S. This film should be required viewing. Everyone must get a handle on the way our food supply has become jeopardized by the major chemical corporations. Government must step up and protect citizens through more effective regulation and testing of the thousands of now used agricultural pesticides. Utterly insane and terrifying--not just for "kids," but for every living creature on the planet. This should be a wake up call at the least! Glyphosate is another toxin everyone should be aware of!!Eye opening.... As I have always believed to be aware is to be alive. This documentary is very informative. If only the world we live in would wake up and change the direction we've been heading in.TGood. For Hawaii sake, and your kids sake, give it a watch. Sometimes democracy happens through documentaries. This is criminal. An important story -- well told.Very important documentary. Among other things gave me one more reason not to drink wine.
