First, this absolutely is an functioning cute costume. The top coat thing is weird. It’s just 3 flappy sections that Velcro to connect, for some reason I expected more of a solid pull-on situation. It was tight at the neck so my daughter tucked the bow tie in to leave it open. She also had to wear a thin white tee under because the yellow flaps did not go far enough down, and anything thicker (hoodie, thicker shirt) didn’t fit underneath and made her costume too tight. But, it did work out. Hat is terrible.
