bought has a gift never stop selling love the musicI'm a preschool teacher and have loved this cd! It was perfect and even got here before I expected it to arrive! Wonderful!As an elementary school teacher, I used "Kids in Motion" daily. The lyrics allowed me to guide my kids in movement with giving them freedom to be themselves. "Body Rock" became our morning wake-up song, "Animal Action" was a crowd favorite, and also aligned with our literacy animals unit, "Show Me What You Feel" supported our Second Step mental and social health curriculum, and I played it to introduce or conclude a lesson. Most importantly, it is fun and upbeat, and the students would request their favorite song (especially "The Freeze") as a class reward or as a birthday activity. Best investment ever!I purchased this cd because it has three of the songs on it that are used by my little one's teacher in his preschool tumbling class. I wanted to be able to practice those songs/dances with him at home.What I found was an entire cd FULL of songs with lyrics that invite participation of kids and adults of all ages. When I invited my niece and nephew (ages 6 & 7) to let us teach them a dance, they weren't very interested...until I started the music... They LOVED it and wanted more..!!! This is a great way to get everybody off the couch and get them moving..!!! Just use your imagination or, better yet, let the kids make up their own motions..!!!One of the greatest kids dance albums ever! Grab that leotard and sweat band and get moving with your kids. Doesn't hurt to put on those leg warmers too. (check out babylegs for your kids) I rocked out to this album as a kid and enjoy watching my kids put their own spin on things. We like to use our beanie babies for the bean bag dance. This is a great CD my kids and their friends love it. Sometimes I forget why people think the 80s were cool, then I think of albums like this. BUY IT!The kids loved the music!There are some select songs my preschool students like on this CD, the freeze dance and animal action. There are some other fun songs to move and groove on too. I have been working with young children for many years this is one of those classic CD's is a must have in a preschool classroom.My granddaughter's Young Fives class was dancing to "The Freeze" when I was there visiting. They were having so much fun that I bought the CD to use with the children in Nursery at Church. We've danced to "The Freeze" and "Bean Bag Boogie". So fun. A great way to have the children move and also listen.i bought this for the creche i work in as the last kids in motion cd started skipping as it is used so much!!we use this cd in the mornings for the childrens exercises and they love it! especially animal action and the freeze!it is very hard to get a group of 2 year olds interested in something but this is one of those cds which can do it!i would recommend it to anyone who works with young children!This is a firm favourite with the children at my pre-school and it keeps them entertained for ages. There are some great songs that everyone loves to dance to. We especially like the Animal Action songs.I teach a special needs class and this music is perfect!My multiage group loves the bean bag boogies and animal action. Was glad to finally find the CD and no longer having to use YouTube with bad sound quality!AWESOME CD!!!! My kindergarteners love the songs/games. We use it both in class and during our gym periods.
