I am somewhat disgusted by the harsh words and quite frankly, selfish reviews that have been left in response to the book. I find it somewhat pathetic that people can be so judgmental and down right rude. Reviews are meant to be constructive, not destructive. Many people on this site need to realize that. How would you feel if you took years and put your heart into something and then everyone responded in a disgusting manner. I loved your book Davey, despite being a HUGE AFI fan and having oodles of respect for you already, I read your book and it was so you. I loved that the main character was flashy and heart felt, I imagine you were at some point similar even though I have done my research and I know the book isn't a direction reflection of your life. It was a fun read, stepping outside of the norm and writing a book that isn't your everyday boring story line. From someone that reads a new book almost every other day, I thank you for taking a step outside of your element and writing a book with so much..flavor. I look forward to your second book that is in the works!
