I have six grandchildren, ranging in age from 15 to 18 months. They all love rhymes, riddles and jokes, especially Knock Knock Jokes. That's why I purchased the KNOCK KNOCK JOKE BOOK FOR KIDS by SHERYL GREEN.My three oldest grandkids (Liz 15, Jordan, 13 and Tyler 12) and I sat down with the book and went through it in one sitting, from cover to cover. We all had the best time! Some of the jokes are older than I. Still funny! My favorite, that I've been telling since I was a child, was included in the book. "Who's there" "Little Old Lady" "Little Old Lady who?" "I didn't know you could yodel!"Admittedly, that one is a little old. I had to explain what yodeling was. But that was okay. There was a lot of laughter and teasing and fun had by all during the explanation. During the reading of the knock knock joke book, we also told each other different jokes and riddles. We laughed so hard our sides hurt. There's something you should know about these three grandkids. They live with me. I'm not the typical grandmother who gets to habe a good time with them once a week and then send them home to Mom. I'm the one who makes them do chores and clean their rooms and do their homework. So this almost hour and a half and fun and laughter was truly special, thanks to this book!My younger grandkids live in CA (I'm in TX). We Skype often. Michael, who is 8, only understood a few of the jokes and Aiden (7) didn't seem to understand them at all. But he and our granddaughter Riley (18 mos.) made sure to laugh every time Michael did so Grammy wouldn't be hurt. Again, the book afforded me some family time I found precious. You don't have to read it cover to cover with your kids/grands as I did. Hit them with one joke a day. Whatever it takes to let them know you're focused totally on them.I love this book and was thrilled to share it with the kids in my life
